GT cars from the different categories of FIA GT and GT3 European Championships, FFSA GT Championship and Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, succeeded to each other on the starting grid during this sunny Sunday. The public was present too...
In the FFSA GT & GT3 Championship, Thierry Prignaud and Jérôme Policand won the second race at the wheel of the n°35 BMW Alpina of Team Sport Garage. Stéphane Ortelli and David Hallyday were second on the podium thanks to the Audi R8 LMS of Team Oreca in front of Julien Briche and Nicolas Tardif (3rd) with the Lamborghini Gallardo of JSB Competition.
For the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, Fabio Babini and Claudio Rossetto secured their seventh victory at the final race of the 2009 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo season today. The pair secured the Pro and Pro-Am drivers' titles yesterday after another podium finish in round 17, but managed to clinch the final win to celebrate their overall victories.
In FIA GT3 European Championship, the Ford GT n°1 of Walter Salles and Thomas Mutsch (Matech GT Racing) dominated the race, in front of the Audi R8 LMS of Team Rosberg driven par the pair Campanico/Armindo. The French team of Marc Sourd is n°3 on the podium with the Corvette Z06.
