The sun promises to shine next Sunday. The show on track will start from 8:15 with the first race of Challenge ASAVE with the most prestigious historic Tourism and Grand Tourism cars of 60s and 70s. Then the legendary cars of the FIA Historic F1 Championship will be shown on track, before the GT90 cars: Venturi, Lamborghini or Viper GTR-S, Ferrari Modena, Maranello... A great expected show !
Then the Peugeot proto monotype formula cars and the Bio Carburants will make their first day race which will be followed by the second race of Challenge ASAVE and the second race of GT90 cars.
The best of the show will be on the starting grid at 12:55: the last race of the 2009 FIA Historic F1 Championship and its 27 cars; amongst them the Williams FW06-4, the March 761/6 (driven in 1976 by Ronnie Peterson), or the Ferrari 312T (driven in 1975 by Niki Lauda and Clay Regazzoni). The spectators will also be able to reknow the Brabham BT49C-10 (driven by Nelson Piquet during the past), the Arrows A4-3, the Lotus 87-004 or the McLaren M26/5 developed by Jochen Mass (driven by James Hunt or Patrick Tambay in 1976/1978). These legendary cars contributed to the history of Formula 1, but also some of them participated to the past legend of the circuit Paul Ricard...
The track activities will continue thanks to the second race of Bio Carburants and finally the endurance race of Caterham, the descendant of the Lotus Seven. This last race will be a great show for the spectators because of numerous overtakings due to the lack of aero support and also carved tyres. The scenario is guaranteed to be unexpected...
Come to the meeting to live a day in the heart of international competition and enjoy some activities such as driving simulators or go-karting...
