Free practice, qualifying sessions.. such is the division of the day, for the present drivers during the Paul Ricard Karting Test Track that 150 registered go-karting drivers have been reunited.
The categories the most appreciated at this beginning of the season are still and always Rotax Max with 32 drivers between 15 and 32 years old and Rotax Master with 24 drivers of more than 32 years old.
The free practice of this morning took place with a pleasant sunshine, allowing the numerous spectators to really appreciate the discovery of the go-karting circuit. Indeed it is the first time since 1998 that an official FFSA race takes place on the track, besides opened to the public.
After the drivers briefing at the beginning of afternoon, it was the moment of timed tests by sessions of 7 minutes per category, and finally qualifying sessions for 4 of 12 categories (KZ125 + Gentlemen; Rotax Max; Juniors; Cadets; Rotax Master).
