11th edition of the Sunday Ride Classic: back on the weekend dedicated to classic and exceptional motorcycles

The 11th edition of the Sunday Ride Classic took place at the Circuit Paul Ricard under a wonderful sunshine.

This gathering of vintage and racing motorcycles has become the reference in France. The figures speak for themselves: more than 25,000 people present on the weekend, a record-breaking for the SRC! Young and old, amateurs or enthusiasts have been able to enjoy various activities: entertaining village, test of new models, parades of different motorbike brands, autographs and selfies with the pilots...

The SRC invited famous names that have marked the motorcycle history. The American Kevin Schwantz - world champion 500 with Suzuki in 1993 – was along with Giacomo Agostini – multiple motorcycle world champion - and Freddie Spencer, nicknamed "Fast Freddy" for his three world championship titles in 250 and 500. Legendary motorcycles of legend were also present, in particulary the Honda CB 750 Four, which celebrate its 50th anniversary. The parade on track includes more than 250 bikers faithful to this extraordinary model.

About racing, the all-new FIM European Classic Endurance Championship opened a 4-hour night-time race on Saturday, with 43 teams competing with one goal in mind: to be at the first place on the podium. Without forgetting the fabulous sidecars, which made the show and gave chills to the spectators.
