6th edition of Le Castellet Trucks Grand Prix 2019: an incredible show at the Circuit Paul Ricard

39,920 visitors attended to the 6th edition of Le Castellet Trucks Grand Prix at the Circuit Paul Ricard, dedicated to competition, but also family entertainment.
About racing, the 30 giants of 1200 horsepower and more than 5 tons came to the track to push to the limits their engines, until reaching 160 km/h. Each drivers had 4 races to try to win on the track of 3.8 km. It was finally Anthony Janiec (Lion Truck Racing, MAN TGS), twice French Champion 2017 and 2018, Thomas Robineau (Robineau Competition, MAN TGX) and Téo Calvet (Lion Truck Racing, MAN TGS) who climbed on the highest step of the podium this weekend.
The Lotus Cup Europe, Catherham Academy and Roadsport 420R championships have brought a touch of lightness, with amazing and crazy overtaking.
About entertainment, 200 decorated trucks animated made the show foe fans on track, in a friendly and festive atmosphere. Many animations were proposed, day and night: funfair, entertaining village, exhibitions, concert, gymkhana, and fireworks.
Celebrities such as Julien Tanti (famous TV reality show candidate named “Les Marseillais”) and Toulon rugby players as Anthony Belleau, Hugo Bonneval, Charles Ollivon, Anthony Etrillard and Juandre Kruger were also able to taste the unique sensations of these machines as co-driver Friday.
