The Paul Ricard Circuit listens to motorcycle riders in view of the 2018 Bol d'Or
On the occasion of the pre-Bol d'Or test yesterday and today at the Paul Ricard Circuit, the drivers David Checa (KAWASAKI), Vincent Philippe (SERT), Sébastien Gimbert (HONDA), Kenny Foray (ERC-BMW Motorrad Endurance) Mike Di Meglio (FCC TSR HONDA) spoke with Stéphane Clair, General Manager of Circuit Paul Ricard and Bol d'Or organizer Pascal Auberty about the new circuit layout and surfacing that was done last winter.
In the presence of Christian Lavieille (endurance world champion, triple winner of the Bol d'Or and motorcycle consultant of the circuit) and André Rey the Director of the tracks, the drivers were able to exchange constructively with the organizers of the Bol d 'And the Circuit Director about the new track lining and cornering adjustments that have been made for their safety. The teams of the Circuit will therefore work to improve certain points of the route for the endurance competition of the Bol d'Or which will take place from 14 to 16 September.
Running 24 hours, from Saturday 15 hours to Sunday 15 hours, by teams of three drivers, the Bol d'Or will mark the opening of the FIM EWC (Endurance World Championship) which runs from September to July in the presence of the biggest teams with the best drivers in the discipline.
