Vintage week-end at the Circuit paul Ricard

The Circuit Paul Ricard will go into vintage mode on the weekend of September 1 and 2 for the Ten Thousand Tours of Castellet.

On the program: 300 cars that have marked the history of motor sport will be on track and more than 500 vintage cars that will present clubs and collectors will be visible closer from the paddock.

For this ninth edition, the Circuit Paul Ricard and Peter Auto have done things in big with also an exhibition village and entertainment throughout the weekend.

Here is the detail of the weekend:

- 8 trays.

- 40 competitors will compose the Plateau 2.0L Cup; Classic Endurance Racing (80 competitors, divided into two grids); Euro F2 Classic (15 competitors); Group C Racing (20 competitors); Heritage Touring Cup (50 competitors); Sixties' Endurance (80 competitors); The Greatest Trophy (20 competitors). Seven categories and eight Plateaux.

- Legendary pilots, from yesterday and today: we will appreciate the presence of those who wrote among others great pages of the history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and engraved their names on the charts: the Italian Emanuele Pirro , Frenchman Gérard Larrousse, the British Derek Bell, and in particular Monegasque Stéphane Ortelli.
