The Green GT in the headlines

11/21/2009

Whereas the Green GT, 100 % electrical racing car, made its first demo on the circuit Paul Ricard last June, Jean-François Webber and Christophe Schwartz, ingeniors from the Ecole polytechnique de Lausanne (Switzerland), invited French journalists to show them their new created prototype on the Paul Ricard track.

Created in 2008 near Lausanne, the prototype driven today by Christian Pescatori (FIAGT and LMES GT1 champion in 2006), is made from high technology 100 % electrical : the two engines are fed by 30 kWh lithium-ion batteries for a maximal range of 15 laps.

The Green GT is also supplied by thin solar panels for 12 volts placed on the car body.
