BOL D'OR - SEPTEMBER 20-22, 2019
Over 24 hours, from 3 pm on Saturday 21 September to Sunday 22nd, in teams of three drivers, the 83rd Bol d’Or will mark the opening season of the FIM EWC (Endurance World Championship) that will be held from September 2019 to July 2020. It remains the leading endurance race in the world.
The greatest official teams with the best riders in the discipline will meet at the Circuit Paul Ricard for a thrilling start to the 2019-2020 season.
At their sides, private or semi-private teams will complete the line-up of about sixty teams in total and will guarantee a lively competition with many surprises.With the Bol d’Or Classic and the Bol d’Argent, more than 500 riders on track.
Alongside the 83rd Bol d’Or, two other “Bol” events will be organised.
The Bol d’Or Classic features old motorcycles. Their throbbing engines and old-style design are a delight for experienced amateurs, as well as for spectators who are discovering them for the first time.
The Bol d’Argent is reserved for amateurs who want to enjoy themselves on the track of the Bol d’Or: 60 teams of two riders, on medium cylinder roadsters, take part in this threehour race.
With these three competitions, more than five hundred riders will be on track throughout the weekend!
The definitive official list of participants in the 83rd Bol d’Or will be published at the end of July, but we are already ensured of the presence of official state-of-the-art teams, such as F.C.C
TSR Honda France, YART, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team, SRC Kawasaki, GERT 56, Honda Endurance Racing Team, and, in particular, the Junior Team LMS Suzuki.Activities in the Traditional and Classic Villages, but also Stunt, Flyboard and Jet-ski, etc.
The Bol d’Or means races, but also a major celebration of motorcycles. Enthusiasts, families, adults and children, will be able to enjoy the various exhibitions and activities. They will be able to stroll around the traditional village and the classic village with their dozens of exhibitors, manufacturers and accessory suppliers. Enjoy some big thrills at the funfair and watch the many stunt, flyboard and freestyle Jet-ski shows. And, in keeping with tradition, the 83rd Bol d’Or will offer a concert on Saturday evening.Timetable
