Organized by the Noco Racing Team (NRT), an association specializing in sim racing esports competitions, the “24h Téléthon by NRT” is a 24-hour virtual endurance race held in support of AFM-Téléthon, the iconic French organization that has been committed since 1976 to research on rare genetic diseases and support for patients and their families.
The goal is simple but powerful: to combine a passion for virtual motorsport with solidarity. By engaging participants and the broader community, the event aims to raise funds to support scientific research, innovative therapies, and clinical trials led by AFM-Téléthon.
Since the first edition, we have raised a total of €29,580.
In 2023, the event brought together no fewer than 300 participants, including around sixty on-site, racing on 19 simulators set up in the Media Center of the Paul Ricard circuit. Among the participants and influencers supporting this charitable event were Étienne Moustache, a popular content creator on YouTube and social media. Other notable names included Idreau, UnstoppRob, Ruubik, KaarMar, as well as online participants such as NagaRacing and Redouane Messaoud — together reaching over 800,000 followers and drawing thousands of viewers across the French-speaking world.
Donations are made via the official fundraising page provided by AFM-Téléthon. The race is streamed live, allowing viewers to experience every moment in real-time on the 24h Téléthon by NRT Twitch channel. Full details can be found on the event's official website.
