The F1 in Schools program is an educational challenge based on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The principle is simple: design and build a miniaturized Formula 1 race car. The first Center of Excellence in France has opened at the Paul Ricard Circuit (based at the Xtrem Park). Equipped with all the necessary material to build miniaturized racing cars, the Center of Excellence welcomes young people registered for the F1 in Schools competition, but also offers this activity to the public.

In teams, the objective is to create a Formula 1 team in all its dimensions: creation of the name, the brand, the communication plan, the business plan, and the realization of their miniature prototype cars. The goal is to compete with the best French teams in the national finals and represent France in the world finals.
