After Barcelona for their opening round and then the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June for some of them, the protagonists of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) took over the track this weekend for the traditional French 4 Hours of Le Castellet, second round in their European tour.

No less than 42 cars took the start of the race Sunday at 11am for an endurance of 4 hours, 122 drivers and 26 teams from 30 different countries. On the French side, four teams and 17 French drivers proudly wore the tricolor colours on this July 14 weekend.

At the end of a rather hectic race where everything was decided in the last minutes, the #25 car of the Portuguese team Algarve Pro Racing finally won ahead of the #30 of the French team Duqueine and the Oreca #34 of the Racing Team Turkey.

The Marseillais driver and Circuit Paul Ricard ambassador Antoine Doquin, entered with the Swiss Racing Spirit of Leman team (and a 100% French crew) won the race in the LMP3 category.

In the LMGTE category, another Frenchman has made a name for himself, Julien Andlauer, with the Proton Competition team’s Porsche 911 RSR No., and is now on the top step of the podium in his category.

The ELMS and the Circuit Paul Ricard offered thirty children the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience. The sick or struggling children of the association Attrap'Rêves, but also the children of the staff of the circuit, the commissioners, the Moto Club Circuit Paul Ricard, the restaurant Panoramic Club and Le Castellet International Airport had the honor to carry the French flag during the ceremony on the starting grid of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet race.
