The Circuit Paul Ricard played host to several categories of motor racing this weekend: single-seaters with the Spanish F4 Championship and Eurocup 3, and historic cars with the 6 Hours of V de V Sports.
The fourth round of the 2025 Spanish F4 Championship brought the first half of the season to a close, demonstrating once again that Thomas Strauven remains the man to beat. The Belgian star added two more victories to his remarkable record, taking his total to six and extending his run of ten consecutive podium finishes. His consistency and raw pace have allowed him to make a statement of intent in the fight for the title, extending his lead in the standings to over 100 points over his closest rivals.
The third round of the 2025 Eurocup-3 once again reshuffled the cards. Kacper Sztuka became the new championship leader at the end of an exceptional weekend at Le Castellet which saw him take his first victory and his fifth podium in just eight races, the best result of any driver this season. Sztuka's impressive form in France marks a major turning point in his campaign, making him the third different driver to top the standings in as many rounds and underlining the fiercely competitive nature of the field this year.
Fans of endurance racing for Historic Competition Vehicles met up at Le Castellet circuit last Saturday for the second race of the VHC Endurance Challenge season. Nearly twenty teams took part in the 6-hour race, which was the final preparation for the famous 2 Tours d'Horloge, which will take place on 31 October, 1 and 2 November on the Provencal track. After taking pole position on the previous day, the N°100 Chevron B16 confirmed its domination of the race, never letting the competition gain the upper hand. After 6 hours of competition and 139 laps completed, the Didier and Julien Gruau/Armand Mille team took the chequered flag with a four-lap advantage over the Pascal Duhamel/Sébastien Crubile Porsche 930 Turbo entered by Pascalou Racing, which finished second after a series of twists and turns.
