€30,750 raised for the League Against Cancer

The Sunset Run “Octobre Rose” welcomed 3,075 participants on Wednesday, October 22.

As the sun set, participants were able to run, walk, rollerblade, or ride scooters along the legendary 5.8 km Var track. With family, friends, solo, or with their sports clubs, runners enjoyed a stunning pink sunset in support of an important cause: the fight against breast cancer.

Thanks to everyone’s participation, the Ligue Contre le Cancer – Var raised €30,750. This amount will be used to support research and patients.

After an energetic warm-up led by a fitness instructor, participants took to the track behind the Circuit Paul Ricard’s safety car, just like in a real motor race. The event also featured a massage therapist, a DJ set by Marie Prieux, a sports shoe testing booth, and, most importantly, the presence of the association to raise as much awareness as possible among participants.
