Based at the Xtrem Park, the F1 in Schools Center of Excellence willwelcome participants registered in the F1 in Schools competition, inpreparation for the national finals. But the Xtrem Park will also offer thisactivity to everyone.

A press conference was organized to introduce the F1 in Schools program,its history and, above all, the establishment of the first Center of Excellencein France at Circuit Paul Ricard. Andrew Denford, CEO of F1 in Schools, andFrédérique Trouvé, President of F1 in Schools France, alongside Stéphane Clair,the General Manager of the circuit, presented this educational challenge.

Representatives of Winfield Racing School and Richard Mille, partners of F1in Schools, were present. Margot Laffite, Romain Grosjean, Felipe Massa andEric Boullier showed their support to the program through videos broadcastduring the conference.

Drivers were also there for the inauguration of the Center of Excellence!Among them, Lilou Wadoux, young driver from the WEC (World EnduranceChampionship) with Richard Mille Racing Team, and Jean Alesi, former Formula 1driver and ambassador of Circuit Paul Ricard.
The young talents of the Circuit Paul Ricard were also there: Antoine Doquin,just crowned 2022 champion of the Asian Le Mans Series, and Pierre-LouisChovet, Formula 3 Asian vice-champion in 2021. The two young drivers were proudto announce their title of ambassador of the F1 in Schools project at CircuitPaul Ricard.

At the end of the conference, the guests were able to discover the Centerof Excellence and compete with miniaturized racing cars on the 20-meter testtrack!
