The General Management of the Circuit Paul Ricard invited all its employees on Monday, December 8, to a road safety training day, in partnership with the Var Road Safety Agency.
This new professional training day aimed to raise awareness among all staff members of the Circuit Paul Ricard, its catering subsidiary Panoramic Club, and its airport, about risks and responsible behavior on the road.
Through seven dedicated workshops, 70 employees of the Circuit Paul Ricard were made aware of good driving practices and road safety:
- The introduction and advanced two-wheel driving sessions, supervised by the EasyMonneret team, allowed volunteers to better understand the importance of vigilance when riding a scooter or motorcycle, as well as the responsible behavior to adopt toward other road users.
- A stand dedicated to alcohol and drug-use prevention presented the effects of these substances on driving, using simulation goggles and a 7 km/h impact simulator that offered a compelling real-life experience.
- Participants were also able to listen to the testimony of two accident victims who are members of the MSR, an impactful moment designed to raise awareness of road dangers and the importance of attentive driving. An emergency braking exercise, carried out with circuit vehicles, allowed them to appreciate the importance of braking in hazardous situations.
- Finally, a quiz and an eco-driving course helped assess employees’ knowledge of the highway code and good driving practices.
