Last weekend, the 2 Tours d’Horloge took place at the Paul Ricard circuit, the only competition in the world exclusively for Historic Racing Vehicles, contested over an uninterrupted duration of 24 hours. Now in its 33rd year, this edition once again confirmed the enthusiasm of both French and international teams, as well as the large crowd that came to take part in the event.
After the traditional “Le Mans-style” start procedure so dear to the 2 Tours d’Horloge, the rolling start was given at 3:00 p.m. on a damp track behind the safety car. The race remained under those conditions for about fifteen minutes before the pack was finally released in earnest.
