The sixth round of the 2024 Ultimate Cup European Series season took place last weekend on the Paul Ricard circuit. The players from the four championships met one last time to compete for victories and the last titles at stake.

European Endurance Prototype Cup: victory for COGEMO, title for Graff

The European Endurance Prototype Cup final lived up to all its promises. After four hours of incessant battles in the Var night, the COGEMO No. 154 won in NP02. Jesse Bouhet, Yohan Rossel and prototype rookie Marlon Hernandez concluded their season with the best possible result. Facing the formidable Gaël Julien, the rally driver held up perfectly in the final minutes of the race to secure his first success at the wheel of this car.

Ultimate GT Endurance Cup: Vinama by GET Speed wins the 6-hour race

The Ultimate GT Endurance Cup season ended with a new feature: a 6-hour race, a first in the history of the championship. Back, the Vinama by GET Speed Mercedes wanted to win again after their success at Mugello. Ameerh Naran and Tom Jackson delivered a nice long-distance duel against the reigning champions, the No. 1 Ferrari of Team Visiom. Jean-Bernard Bouvet and Jean-Paul Pagny, alongside Romain Iannetta, had to bow to their opponents.

Despite numerous problems at Vortex, a 2.0 finished on the podium in UCS1. Forced to stay in the pits for long minutes to repair the left rear suspension, after contact on the first lap, Sébastien Loeb and Olivier Gomez thought that a good result was out of their reach. Once back on track, the nine-time world rally champion and his teammate put in a series of good stints to come back up to third place in their category.

Ultimate GT Sprint Cup: Atzori finishes the job, the Mercedes AMG C63 DTM puts on a show

From the season opener to the finale, Francesco Atzori never let up. In UCS1, the Italian won all eight races he took part in. Champion in the category, the SR&R driver also won the overall championship. Manfredi Ravetto's team also took home the trophy awarded to the best team in the Ultimate Cavallino Tridente Cup.

Lyle Schofield (SR&R) won two titles. The Irishman validated his excellent year in UCS3 with a final race victory. In UCTC, he won the drivers' classification alongside his teammate Lourenço Monteiro.

Ultimate Formula Cup: Enzo Richer is close to the goal

With his 44.5-point lead in the championship and the absence of his great rival Juan Francisco Soldavini (Art-Line Virage), Enzo Richer arrived confident in the Var. The Formula Motorsport driver knew that his three victories at Magny-Cours had been of capital importance in view of the championship. If he could not prevent Adrien Closmenil (Winfield Racing) from winning in Race 1, the Luxembourger only had to score 0.5 points to be champion. He put an end to the suspense in Race 2, which ended once again in second place behind his teammate Dylan Estre. Well on his way to celebrating his title with a victory in the last event on Sunday morning, a problem in the middle of the race made him fall off the podium. Enzo Richer still finished in the top-3 behind Adrien Closmenil and Dylan Estre.
