The Circuit Paul Ricard is pleased to announce the presence of the new "F1 Academy" championship on its 2023 calendar on July 29 and 30.

The F1 Academy calendar has been designed to give the 15 drivers the opportunity to compete on a variety of challenging circuits that will help develop the drivers' technical skills and prepare them to progress to higher levels of competition.

Each race weekend will consist of two 40-minute free practice sessions, followed by two 15-minute qualifying sessions. All events will consist of three races: Races 1 and 3 will last 30 minutes, and Race 2 will last 20 minutes.

The Circuit Paul Ricard already participates in the detection of young female drivers by hosting the FIA program "Girls on Track - Rising stars" which selects young girls between 12 and 16 years old for karting and Formula 4 races.
