The season finale weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard set a new record with 148 cars on track, the largest grid of the year. In qualifying, Job Van Uitert set the benchmark lap with a 1:56.147, one of only two drivers to dip under 1:57 along with Arthur Rogeon.

The final race finally smiled on James Winslow and Alim Geshev, who claimed their first victory after spending the season on the brink of the podium. Their success, combined with a 1.969-second margin over their rivals and the penalty handed to Van Uitert, also secured the teams’ title for 23 Events Racing.

The finale also confirmed the success of the 6-Hour GT Endurance format, already praised in 2024. Highlights included Switch Racing’s first endurance outing, Louka Desgranges’ achievement in becoming, at 18, the youngest double champion in the Kennol GT Endurance Cup, and Miroslav Konopka’s flawless season, remaining unbeaten in ten races in the Am category.

With the 2025 chapter barely closed, the Ultimate Cup European Series is already looking ahead to 2026, with the season set to kick off on 23 April at the Castellet.
