While the French Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place on the Circuit Paul Ricard in just over a month, the spectators had a meet this weekend to relive the great era of the automotive Grand Prix and review the single-seaters that have made the success of the last decades.


Thanks to the Boss GP category, enthusiasts were able to hear the inimitable sound of the V10 engines of the time and dive back into the atmosphere of the Grand Prix of the years 1990 and 2000 with the iconic Jaguar, Toro Rosso and Benetton. The GP2 Series V8s were also seen at their side on the starting grid.


The track of the Circuit Paul Ricard has also found the other single-seaters that it saw succeed each other in the past : the F1 of the 70s, the F2 of the years 1967 to 1978, the F3 of the 70s-80s, the Formula Renault with turbo engine or «atmo» of the 1990s or the Ford Formula 1600 of the years 67 to 92.


Under a blazing sun, thousands of spectators were able to attend the twelve races of the program, admire the single-seaters on display, hear the engines start in the pits, and enjoy with family or friends the activities of the Xtrem Park and the animations installed in the paddock: driving simulators, bouncy castles, giant LEGO model of the Circuit Paul Ricard, batak challenge, exhibition of Alpine A110 and Berlinettes, exhibition of collection miniatures...
