The KENNOL Historic French Grand Prix is once again shaping up to be one of the major highlights of the motorsport calendar. Building on the success of the 2025 edition, which attracted 106,000 spectators to Circuit Paul Ricard, the event taking place on May 8, 9 and 10 promises another emotion-filled weekend for racing enthusiasts.

A major announcement for this edition: Esteban Ocon has accepted Jean Alesi’s invitation and will be attending the KENNOL Historic Frenc Grand Prix for the first time. The French driver, set to race with the Haas F1 Team in 2026, will take to the track on Saturday as part of the “Fast & Famous” Formula 1 demonstration. A highly anticipated appearance, symbolising the connection between the new generation of French drivers and the rich history of Formula 1.

Jean Alesi, circuit president and iconic Formula 1 figure, will also be in attendance. The Avignon native will once again drive a legendary single-seater: the 1995 Ferrari 412 T2, the car in which he claimed the only victory of his Formula 1 career at the Canadian Grand Prix. A true piece of motorsport history, this Ferrari is also the last Formula 1 car powered by a V12 engine and remains one of the most admired cars of its era, much to the delight of fans.

The KENNOL Historic French Grand Prix confirms its status as a must-attend event, blending heritage, legacy and passion for Formula 1.
