On Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 March, 49 cars representing eight manufacturers met at the Circuit Paul Ricard for the kick-off of the official Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS season tests.

For the first tests of the season, during the 7 hours of driving, it is the Comtoyou Racing team which distinguished itself with its Audi n°11. Driver Gilles Magnus clocked a time of 1m53.294s for his Belgian team, which is making its debut in Fanatec GT Europe this season.

On the second day of testing, AKKODIS achieved the best time of the day with driver Thomas Drouet in 1m52.701s in his Mercedes-AMG. The good progress of the team allows to start the season in the best way and to take the lead of the official tests of the Championship which, this last, announces itself intense.

The Circuit Paul Ricard will once again welcome the drivers and teams of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS on June 3rd and 4th, for the 1000 kms endurance event.
